Remember Your Personal Legend

As we become older, it becomes harder to just believe. It’s not that we don’t want to, but because things have happened that make it difficult. There is, however, one thing you can always have faith in, and that is yourself.

We all have a purpose for being here, and it is up to use to realize our Personal Legend. It is our truth. Our reason for being here.

I know, for example, that I am meant to promote awareness as a leader in the global community. Through travel, public speaking and personal interaction, I have the ability to reach people and influence social change.

My personal legend as a communicator was apparent at a young age. I was always running around searching for something exciting to do and inspiring others to join me in a pursuit of happiness and self-discovery.

My intuitive nature and comfort in front of a crowd later drove me to practice acting, journalism and later photography. Expressing myself creatively was as essential to my survival and development as food and water.

I learned, as I got older, that it can be quite difficult to stay focused on the end goal. Obstacles arise along the way that distract us and lead us astray. They influence us to shift our priorities and forget what we were working so hard toward.

This is the ego infiltrating your pure essence, telling it lies and causing it to fear the unknown.

We must push past these moments of doubt. Find the strength to move forward and continue on your journey to self-discovery. Allow the unknown to open new possibilities that you never thought possible. Calm your anxieties and reassure yourself that you are moving in the right direction.

Open yourself up to change and remember what it was that you wanted when you first started. Remember your Personal Legend.
